It combines flashcards, multiple-choice quizzes, typing quizzes, a 6-stage spaced repetition system (SRS), and AI-powered chat practice to help users memorize and actively use vocabulary.

Who is Lanma for?

Lanma is for anyone learning a new language or studying vocabulary — from students preparing for language proficiency exams to casual learners expanding their vocabulary. It is especially well-suited for learners who prefer to create and organize their own custom word sets rather than relying on pre-made content.

The most common way people start is from video: learning English from the YouTube videos they already watch.

For studying, Lanma supports the most popular 20 languages: English, Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, French, Arabic, Bengali, Russian, Portuguese, Urdu, Indonesian, German, Japanese, Telugu, Turkish, Tamil, Yue Chinese, Vietnamese, Tagalog, and Korean.

Pricing (Web)

Video imports count once per started 10 minutes of video (a 25-minute video uses 3), and AI Chat counts each AI reply (a full conversation is about 25). Note: native app pricing can differ by platform or region due to app store billing policies.
