Never Grow Up
Chanmina's second album, released in August 2019, moves between a summer crush that never becomes more than friendship, a refusal to be filed under one genre, a long on-and-off love told through Peter Pan and Wendy, and a toast to her friends on turning twenty. The vocabulary is the plain spoken Japanese of dating, breaking up, speaking your mind and cheering friends on.
