The Book of Us : Gravity
The Book of Us : Gravity (2019) opens DAY6's Book of Us series and carries their signature song, the youth anthem whose title means "so this can become a page". Around it sit songs about being kind to yourself, wanting to learn how to love, missing childhood and hiding behind a polished surface. The vocabulary is warm and conversational: memories, growing up, honesty, and the feelings people keep wrapped up.
