XOXO (Kiss & Hug), Part 1
XOXO (2013) is EXO's first full album, repackaged with the hit Growl, and its first half swings between a possessive teenage growl and wide-eyed first love. The vocabulary here follows that swing: warnings and stares in Growl and Wolf, nervous love letters in XOXO, gratitude in Lucky, then the sea-and-storm imagery of Baby, Don't Cry and Black Pearl.
