I.O.I : LOOP. I.O.I's 2026 reunion: the mini album I.O.I : LOOP and its pre-release "웃으며 안녕", a farewell song the group recorded back in 2016. Nearly ten years on, the songs look back, with memories that return out of nowhere late at night and a promise to meet again after the rain. The vocabulary is the language of nostalgia: lingering attachment, fading memories, longing, and things that are still the same.
miss me? & Downpour. The second mini album miss me? (2016), led by the bright "너무너무너무", pooled with the farewell single "소나기" (Downpour) from January 2017. The mini album is about being careful with a new crush: testing whether he means it, playing push-and-pull, working up the courage to speak first. "소나기" then says goodbye through the image of a passing shower, so the set moves from flirting vocabulary to rain and parting.
Chrysalis & Whatta Man. I.O.I's 2016 beginnings: the Produce 101 songs "Pick Me" and "Crush", the debut mini album Chrysalis, and the unit single "Whatta Man (Good man)". The songs are about a first crush and about eleven trainees telling each other not to give up, so the words here cover a racing heart, hesitating to confess, and holding your head up when you fall behind. Expect plenty of spoken, slightly cheeky Korean, including a few idioms about taking a hint.
