Editorial, Part 1

Editorial (2021) is Higedan's most ambitious record. Apoptosis names a relationship's ending in biological terms and carries the album's quietest vocabulary - 訪れる, 鎮まる, 出くわす, 横たわる - I LOVE... works entirely in colour and water (水槽, 絵の具, 色彩), and Cry Baby, the Tokyo Revengers theme, supplies the bruises: 胸ぐら, 青あざ, 腫れ上がる, 抉る.
