Traveler, Part 1
Traveler (2019) is the album that made Higedan a household name in Japan. Yesterday is built on the vocabulary of caring what people think - 世間体, 半信半疑, 悠長, 名残惜しい - Shukumei borrows the language of sport (背番号, 讃える, 泥だらけ), and Saigo no Koiwazurai reaches for legal and medical registers to describe a couple who keep saying 'this is the last time'.
