MAP OF THE SOUL: 7, Part 2
The back half of MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 (2020) turns away from stadium anthems toward small, personal rooms: a sleepless night that resets at midnight in 00:00 (Zero O'Clock), V writing to his younger self in Inner Child, Jimin and V trading schoolyard memories in 친구 (Friends), and Jin orbiting someone he loves in Moon. The album then closes with RM and Suga arguing about what respect really means and the group looking back at seven years in We are Bulletproof: the Eternal. The vocabulary here is the plain, daily Korean of feelings and friendship: being heavy, being okay, praying, laughing, worrying, and starting over.
