ARIRANG, Part 2. Part 2 covers the closing stretch of ARIRANG, BTS's March 2026 return album after military service. These five songs drop the swagger of the first half: “they don't know 'bout us” shrugs off the myth around the group, “One More Night” and “Please” are love songs about wanting someone to stay, and the vinyl-only hidden track “Come Over” is about calling an old relationship back. The vocabulary leans on emotion verbs, time words, and the everyday phrases Korean speakers actually use to say sorry, to ask how someone's been, and to promise not to leave.
ARIRANG, Part 1. ARIRANG, released in March 2026, is BTS's first album made after all seven members finished their military service, and it takes its name from the traditional folk song sampled on the opening track. Part 1 follows the album's loud front half, from the reunion party of “Body to Body” through the burnout confession of “Merry Go Round.” The Korean here is mostly casual spoken language: verbs for moving, dancing and throwing things out, blunt everyday adverbs, and the words the members reach for when they brag, and when they admit they are tired.
Proof: New Songs. Proof (2022) is BTS's three-disc anthology, released as the members were about to begin solo projects and military service, and most of it revisits songs fans already know. This set covers only the three genuinely new tracks: the lead single "Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)", the CD2 opener "Run BTS", and the closing fan song "For Youth". All three look back at the group's early days in Nonhyeon-dong and forward to what comes next, so the Korean here is built around everyday verbs of running, stopping, learning and coming back, plus the words for beginnings, seasons and gratitude.
