DARK & WILD, Part 1

Released in August 2014, DARK & WILD was BTS's first full-length album and the record where their schoolyard hip-hop attitude collided with the mess of a first serious relationship. The first half moves from the nervous confession of the intro through the swagger of Danger and 호르몬 전쟁 into the rain-soaked regret of Let Me Know and Rain. The vocabulary here is the Korean of dating and texting - 연락, 남친, 설레는 감정 - plus the feeling words like 미련 and 버티다 that explain why these songs sting.
