DARK & WILD, Part 2

The back half of DARK & WILD (2014) is where BTS's first full-length album gets funnier and more self-aware. 핸드폰 좀 꺼줄래 complains about friends glued to their phones, 이불킥 and 24/7=heaven capture the giddy, cringing side of a new crush, and 2학년 looks back on their rookie year while the outro closes the record on a breakup. The Korean here is conversational and modern - texting and phone words, crush vocabulary like 설레다 and 사귀다, and internet-age terms such as 악플 and 꼰대.
