“O”-正.反.合., Part 1

The first half of TVXQ's 2006 third album, whose title borrows the Hegelian thesis-antithesis-synthesis. The title track is a genuine argument about disagreement and consensus, and the vocabulary is correspondingly abstract: principles, drifting, coexistence, debate. The rest of the half turns personal — 세상에 단 하나뿐인 마음 and I'll Be There are gratitude songs, and Remember works through scars and traces that never quite heal.
