ANTI ANTI GENERATION, Part 1
ANTI ANTI GENERATION (2018) is the album where RADWIMPS argue with the whole culture. Sennou is a set-piece of the vocabulary of manipulation and bias - 根拠, 偏見, 贔屓, 有象無象 - Catharsist supplies the language of competition (負かす, 高み, そびえ立つ, 偉大), and Sokkenai closes it with the everyday words of being brushed off.

| 鮮やか | vivid, brilliant, deft (あざやか) | 紅葉が鮮やかに色づいた。The autumn leaves turned a vivid colour. |
| 六感 | the sixth sense (ろっかん) | 第六感が働いて引き返した。My sixth sense kicked in and I turned back. |
| 悠長 | leisurely, unhurried to a fault (ゆうちょう) | 悠長に構えている場合ではない。This is no time to be taking it easy. |
| 列挙 | enumeration, listing out (れっきょ) | 問題点を列挙してみよう。Let's list out the problems. |
| 勝ち誇る | to be triumphant, to crow over a win (かちほこる) | 勝ち誇った表情を浮かべた。He wore a triumphant expression. |
| 正論 | a sound argument, an unanswerable point (せいろん) | 正論だが受け入れにくい。It's a sound argument, but hard to accept. |
| 読破 | reading a work all the way through (どくは) | 長編小説を一週間で読破した。I read the whole long novel in a week. |
| 御託 | pretentious talk, blather (ごたく) | 御託はいいから始めよう。Enough blather, let's get started. |
| 負かす | to defeat, to beat (まかす) | 彼を将棋で負かしたことはない。I've never beaten him at shogi. |

| そびえ立つ | to tower, to rise up (そびえたつ) | 駅前に高層ビルがそびえ立っている。A skyscraper towers in front of the station. |
| 偉大 | great, magnificent (いだい) | 彼は偉大な指導者と呼ばれた。He was called a great leader. |
| 根拠 | grounds, a basis (こんきょ) | その主張には根拠がない。That claim has no basis. |
| 蓋 | a lid, a cover (ふた) | 鍋の蓋を開けてかき混ぜた。I lifted the pot lid and stirred. |
| 偏見 | prejudice, bias (へんけん) | 偏見を持たずに話を聞きたい。I want to listen without prejudice. |
| 有象無象 | the rabble, all and sundry (うぞうむぞう) | 有象無象の意見に振り回された。We were jerked around by all and sundry. |
| 贔屓 | favouritism, patronage (ひいき) | 先生の贔屓が目に余る。The teacher's favouritism is too much to ignore. |
| 味気ない | dull, insipid, dreary (あじけない) | 一人の食事は味気ない。Eating alone is dreary. |
| 仕草 | a gesture, a mannerism (しぐさ) | 彼女の何気ない仕草が印象に残る。Her casual mannerisms stay with you. |

| 迫る | to press, to draw near, to close in (せまる) | 締切が刻々と迫っている。The deadline is closing in by the minute. |
| 作文 | a composition, an essay (さくぶん) | 夏休みの作文がまだ終わらない。I still haven't finished my summer holiday essay. |
| 自慢 | boasting, something one is proud of (じまん) | 彼は息子の自慢ばかりする。He does nothing but boast about his son. |
