The Red Summer
The Red Summer (2017) is Red Velvet's first summer mini album, led by the fruit-and-sunshine hit "빨간 맛 (Red Flavor)". Its five tracks move from a crush that tastes like summer to a jungle daydream, a beach getaway and a quiet evening remembering someone by the sea. The vocabulary is bright and practical: heat, shade, sand and falling showers of stars, plus the words for falling for someone at first sight.
