INVU, Part 1
INVU (2022) is TAEYEON's third full album, and its title track is about loving someone who gives far less back, to the point of envying how untouched they are. This first half runs from that one-sided love through a quiet night of missing someone, a relationship growing cold, and a grown-up who still half-believes in fairy tales. The words cover effort and exhaustion, small everyday objects and habits, and the vocabulary of things cooling, wilting and leaving a mark.
