Drama
Drama, aespa's 4th mini album from November 2023, pairs the swaggering title track with the playful cat-and-mouse of Trick or Trick and the targeting-system metaphors of Don't Blink. Hot Air Balloon and YOLO turn toward soaring, live-it-once optimism, while the closer You is the softest and most Korean-dense song on the record. The vocabulary here covers confrontation and instinct, teasing and provocation, flight and heat, and the quiet words of gratitude that end the album.
