Whiplash
aespa's 5th mini album Whiplash (2024) pairs a minimal, bass-driven title track with five sharply different moods. The vocabulary here covers the cool self-assurance of "Whiplash" and "Kill It", the escape fantasy of "Flights, Not Feelings", the style-as-attitude language of "Pink Hoodie", the garden imagery of "Flowers", and the clean break of "Just Another Girl". Expect words for focus, pressure, prejudice, fragrance and regret — the Korean lines on this EP are short, so each item is one a learner will actually reuse.
